UPS-18650 is a UPS power supply specially designed for Raspberry Pi (hereinafter referred to as pi). It is powered by two standard flat head 18650 lithium batteries (cells without protection board), and supports external power supply insertion detection. When charging the external power supply, the pi is powered by an external power supply. When the external power supply is unplugged, the pi is seamlessly powered by the lithium battery. The UPS-18650 is connected to the pi motherboard via 10 high-current thimbles, so the pi does not need to be connected to the UPS-18650 with a micro usb cable. In addition, UPS-18650 also integrates professional power meter chip MAX17040G, RTC real-time clock chip DS1307Z+, USB-to-UART serial port chip CP2104, power indicator, and additional 5V output port for external devices.
